UPDATE on PROJECT TO HELP 6,000 RURAL STUDENTS

JUST A LITTLE MORE TO MEET OUR GOAL OF $5,000 FOR JANUARY

The YouTube Guatemalan Foundation Video #11 focused on our beginning-of-the-school-year project to provide  SCHOOL SUPPLIES to our 250 students from the two Patzicia schools, and 5,500 rural students from the 31 rural schools in Santa Cruz Verapaz.

We are grateful to the nineteen (19)  of you who helped more than usual bringing our donations in January to $3,529.   The project was completed borrowing temporarily around $1,500 from another account.  PLEASE HELP US JUST A LITTLE MORE TO LEVEL OUR ACCOUNTS, and have enough for the Emergency Aid and Educational  projects for February.

One of our donors showed the the video to her family, and, in addition to her donation, her teenage daughter now is donating $20/month.  Others forwarded our last email to friends, and three new  donors were born.  Those are just two examples of how you might be able to help a little more.

We appreciate your continued partnership.  The above mentioned donor emailed us saying about Video #11,
"IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!"

I'll insert it again below to remind us.
"Teach a man how to fish...and he'll eat forever"
....but,  students need school supplies to be able to learn.
